I have requested 3 different birthday “cakes” to be designed and “engineered” here.

I use the word “engineered” because it really feels like that was how Kneadhappiness Chef did it.

I would just bring an idea to her and she would first draw it out, and then “engineer” it into a reality!

From my Mum’s 77th Birthday (a cute Giant Grandma Peach Bun which when lifted up revealed my Mum’s favourite Charlie Brown, Snoopy and Friends characters hidden inside), to my Mum’s 78th Birthday (a jigsaw puzzle garden themed cake which my Mum had to put together; not an easy feat but a truly enjoyable task for my Mum), to the most recent “Lambie” (inspired by Dr Mcstuffins) cake whose head could be “torn” open to reveal my 12 year old daughter’s favourite bedtime stuffed toys and then Lambie’s body which could be lifted up to reveal all her other favourite items (e.g. her dance shoes, sewing machine, musical box, boaster, etc)!

The cakes were always well made, with fine details and such innovative and unexpected surprises to them that my loved ones enjoyed receiving and “opening” them.

Ordered this for my mom’s birthday and she was very happy with the shou bao. The owner was very accommodating and helpful throughout the ordering process. This shop specialise in making handmade mantous. They have vending machine and fridge for customers to buy frozen readymade mantous - just walk in. You can also order preorder mantous, given your own design /suggestion by shop owner for special occasions like birthdays, etc. My girl loves their mantous, ate them since 1 year old till now. The baker very detailed and attentive, workmanship and quality mantous very good compare to others which I have tried.
